This time last year I took some photos of bees on purple flowers and today I found some more bees on purple flowers. These are taken with my 70 - 200 mm lens, hand held. I believe I need a macro lens on a tripod to get really sharp images, but I still got some fun shots.

Note: If I increased the f stop and had a fast shutter speed, maybe the bee would have been sharper?
I have NEVER seen a true bee line, until today. I believe I know where the term comes from now. Look at this bee (below)! It's moving fast!

It's little legs are dangling straight out from the back of it. I laughed when I saw this. It makes me want to say, "Vrooom, vrooom!"
