Week 11 - Spring/Fall

Good thing warmer temps have arrived—just in time for me to capture some Spring photos for my weekly photo challenge.

All of these were taken at the Eagan City Park. First off, I saw many a tunnel dug by rodents.

The snow had just melted and the ground was very wet.

Leaves from last fall were on a walkway, flooded with water from melting snow.

Below: Hubby Tom was on the ridge above the walkway (hitting golf balls). The blue tint in the photo is from a filter in Adobe Lightroom. It makes the photo look "cold", but to be honest, it WAS cold with the sun going down and snow still on the ground.

And proof positive that Spring is on it's way.

Next week the theme is "Portrait of a wonderful person." I'm holding a contest for this theme and the winner (chosen by my artistic son) will get a $10 Starbucks or Caribou gift card. If you'd like to be in the running, enter one photo by posting it on my Facebook wall by midnight on March 27. THE PHOTO MUST BE TAKEN BETWEEN NOW AND MARCH 27. Only new photos allowed. Have fun!
